Harriet Chung Performing Arts
Harriet Chung, the Artistic Director of the school, has had an extensive international musical theatre career and has appeared in such hits as the Toronto proudction of The Phantom of the Opera, Cats in Germany and numerous productions of The King & I in Ontario and Britis Columbia where she also received an Ovation Theatre award nomination for Outstanding Choreography. Harriet also starred in the title role in Golden Lotus, in Hong Kong, where she received a Hong Kong English Drama Award (Heckers) nomination for Best Actress.
Isabella Hoops
Isabella Hoops is a Toronto-based circus performer known for her vibrant energy, quirky humour, and undeniable charm. More than just a hula-hooper, she fuses dance, rhythm, and character into a dynamic, crowd-pleasing act that’s as unforgettable as it is unique.
Drumin
DRUMIN is a community-focused percussion group led by facilitator Sam, dedicated to bringing the "universal power of music" to the Greater Toronto Area. With a background rooted in the HealthRHYTHMS protocol and a deep belief that group drumming can "sweeten one’s life," the group specializes in creating inclusive, high-energy rhythmic experiences.

Men of Note Male Voice Choir
The subtle mixture of baritone and tenor voices, underscored by the richness of resonant bass notes, produce a blend of sweet sounds possible only when male voices are raised as one in song. Each Men of Note Male Voice Choir concert offers a pleasing and enjoyable interpretation of favourite melodies – from sacred anthems and choral works to plaintive spirituals, traditional folk tunes, show music and popular songs. In addition, a special place is reserved for the songs of Canadian composers.

The Markham School of Rock
The current School of Rock Markham House Band is a group of talented musicians, ranging in age from 14 to 18. The Markham House Bands tours every summer and members have been given the opportunity to play at some of the greatest venues in the world, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Lincoln Hall in Chicago, Summerfest (the world's largest music festival) in Milwaukee, the Hard Rock Resort in Punta Cana and Morey's Pier5 in New Jersey. The School of Rock Markham which opened 12 years ago, is a perfrormance based music education program for children and adults. Located on Bullock Drive in Markham, they were the first offficial School of Rock in Canadaand one of only two School of Rocks in the GTA. Most people think the school was named after the movis , but in fact the first School of Rock opened in Philadelphia in 1998 and the film was released in 2003. You could say, we started it all!!! There are now more than 400 locations worldwide.
