Showcase & Performance
Strawberry Jam Junior: Open Mic
Ages: 12 & under
Registration: Required (Limited to 21 participants)
A chance for young performers to take the stage! Singing, dancing, magic—whatever their talent, this lighthearted open mic gives kids their moment in the spotlight. Held on the Main Stage, rain or shine.
Friendly Competitions
Stouffville Bakes: Pie & Jam Competition
Registration: Required
Eligibility: Whitchurch-Stouffville residents; strawberries must be the main ingredient
Submit your best strawberry creations at Latcham Hall on Thursday evening. Entries are judged on taste, texture, and originality, with winners announced at Friday’s opening ceremonies.
Totally Toddler Show
Ages: 10 months to 5 years
Registration: Required
A fun and interactive celebration of personality and charm—this is not a beauty pageant. Every participant receives a gift bag, with prizes awarded in each category.
The Ultimate Spelling Bee
Ages: 6–9 and 10–13
Registration: Required (via Stouffville Library)
A lively spelling competition hosted in partnership with the Stouffville Library. Join us in the festival marquee for a fun and engaging challenge.
3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
Ages: Grades 9–12 (Boys & Girls divisions)
Registration: Required (Residents only)
Compete in this annual youth tournament held over the weekend. All waivers must be completed prior to game day.
Family Activities & Crafts
Pet Contest
Registration: Not required
Bring your four-legged friends to Sangsters Grove on Sunday for a fun and lighthearted competition. Awards include “Best Kisser” and “Look-Alike.”
All pets must be leashed or in carriers.
Birdhouse Building & Kids’ Craft Station
Registration: Not required
Build a wooden birdhouse to take home, then decorate it or contribute to the Strawberry Festival community mural.
Picnic in the Park
Registration: Not required
Classic outdoor fun for all ages—featuring hula hoop contests, tug-of-war, three-legged races, and the Firefighters Run.
Food & Experiences
Sandy Stronach Red Berry Café
Registration: Not required
Enjoy tea served in fine china, strawberry desserts, or a frozen strawberry daiquiri. Proudly partnered with Metro.
