🍓 Join the Festival Family

The Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival is more than just a weekend of family fun—it’s a community tradition built by neighbors, for neighbors. While the berries are sweet, it’s the dedicated people behind the scenes who truly make the magic happen.

Be a Volunteer

We spend 10 months of the year planning, organizing, and dreaming big. Whether you’re looking to give back to your town, meet new friends, or gain event-planning experience, there’s a seat at our table for you.

Volunteer Application Form

Volunteer activities are all in Memorial Park Stouffville (except posting up festival lawn signs around town to promote the event). Volunteer activities are marked for level of capabilities. Please check only those that you are capable of doing.

NOTE: Email addresses will be used only for Strawberry Festival volunteer purposes.

First-time volunteers must attend an education training meeting (in person or virtual) to help you learn and understand the volunteer job you signed up for during the festival. A meeting will be scheduled closer to the festival date.

Volunteer FAQ

Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival

Please go directly to the Volunteer Tent. All volunteers must sign in here before starting their shift to receive their lanyard and location assignment.

The festival goes on rain or shine! Please check the weather forecast and bring appropriate rain gear. We recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes.

Parking near Memorial Park is very limited during the festival. We recommend using the designated Festival Parking lots. Allow an extra 20–30 minutes to ensure you arrive at the Volunteer Tent on time for your shift.

We provide water, beverages, snacks, and fresh fruit at the Volunteer Tent. However, we do not provide full meals. If your shift is 4 hours or longer, please bring a packed lunch or money to purchase food from the festival vendors.

You may leave small belongings at the tent, but space is limited. Do not bring valuables. The Stouffville Strawberry Festival is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Please notify the Volunteer Coordinator as soon as possible via the contact number provided in your confirmation email so we can find a replacement for your station.

Bring your school or organization’s form to the Volunteer Tent at the end of your shift. A designated Volunteer Supervisor can sign these. We cannot sign forms after the festival weekend has concluded.
